The corporate aspect of Otley Osteopaths provide Osteopathy services to businesses who value the health and well-being of their employees and want to increase productivity by preventing absenteeism.
Research suggests that 40% of the population are affected by back pain, resulting in about £200 for every employee in sickness costs (Source - Clinical Standards Advisory Group). We offer a range of services to both prevent and treat such health problems.
We provide both individual posture assessments at the work desk, and short educational sessions to groups to prevent desk related injuries occurring. This all helps to keep your staff feeling great and improving work efficiency.
Otley Osteopaths also provide flexible and discrete Osteopathy clinics within your business environment. This not only promotes employee moral, but allows your business to practically demonstrate your commitment to employee well-being, without turning the workplace into a spa.
Practically, we supply all the equipment and we use little, or no oil for soft tissue massage work, allowing your employees to return directly to work and ready to continue their day. Clothing does not necessarily have to be removed for treatments to be effective. All payments are arranged between Otley Osteopaths and the patient. Some assistance may be required to arrange the bookings and venue (typically a small meeting room or private office). You can set the frequency of the sessions and employees attend the clinic during lunchtime or in flexitime to minimise disruption to the working day.
We provide our corporate clinics at a reduced cost, enabling your employees to access the service, but previously businesses have also arranged treatments as rewards or subsidise the cost further. We are happy to facilitate this, if you would like to do the same.
You have nothing to lose, but your employees have improved mobility and health to gain!
We are proud to be one of the official suppliers of treatments for the professional performers and dancers at the West Yorkshire Playhouse during demanding times of rehearsals and shows.
